Review: Growing up, my favorite book was, easily, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. Roald Dahls a magical adventure story for young boys factory stranger was spell binding. Although I have never had a problem with Original Motion Willy Wonka Gene Wilder (no matter how true it was, it was still a beautiful and moving film), I did back-flips when I heard Tim Burton might be my all-time-favorite director, it would be in front of the new version of the movie.First all, Johnny Depp is perfect as Willy Wonka. What people do not really get the first film is that Wonka was meant to be, well, crazy. He had a peculiar and strange, the way he gets rotten children to get what he deserved and protected the factory of his son. Gene Wilder Wonka capture more than a father figure, and it really was very good. Depp to pull out all the stops as the new Willy Wonka, but there are times when one member of the audience gets a little scared out.What I loved the most in the movie was true to the book it was. All of this was mentioned, from the palace of chocolate toffee hair, is taken directly from the book. I was incredibly impressed.This is definitely a film for everyone, especially for those of us with the original story in our hearts. Wonka chocolate bars for everyone! |
