Review: The simple pleasures in life are the best, and this film is one of them. Combining fairly basic story of love and adventure, this film goes beyond the usual weekend fair wit and uncanny charm. Each sign is a pleasure and you just want to see more of them. The Princess Bride is based on the novel by William Goldman invincible, who also wrote the screenplay. Although this is a movie review, I can not recommend the book on which it is based further. It is simply the most humorous, fascinated with story ever written, and it meets many of the details that were impossible to include in the display. The only other film of this type, I can think of that is so funny it was Danny Kayes Court Jester, another masked comedy / adventure / romance that I am also highly recommended. |
